Voiceovers
This is our first voiceover. We used a young male and I think his English is clear and understandable . However we didn't use it as it sounded to monotone and serious for our documentary.
This is our second person we found to do our voiceover. Again we used a male and I think this fits within our documentary and is not to serious. I also feel the voice fits as it has a varied tone.
We got the same male to do our radio voiceover and I think this works again as the voice is interesting.

Codes and Conventions of a Print Advert
Size – A4 Landscape – can be scaled to fit different sizes and is the shape of a billboard (versatile shape)
One main image – Striking and sums up the programme

Codes and Conventions of a radio trailer
Today we listened to radio trailers and came up with the codes and conventions they are:
The title of the documentary is usually said along with the scheduling of the documentary.
They always include what channel the documentary will appear on (this is usually said last)
Extracts from the programme are used, usually involving a key element from the documentary
There is a voice over which: outlines the narrative, sometimes posting questions to the audience that will be addressed in the documentary. This is used to intrigue the audience into wanting to watch the documentary.
There is always a music bed
The advert is always played on an appropriate radio channel; young teenager BBC programmes can be advertised on Radio 1

Song Choices
We looked at a variety of songs for our opening titles as we knew it anchor our on screen image and set the style for our documentary. We knew we wanted a fast beat and decided not to use 'Tokyo' by The Wombats as it was not as fast as we wanted. The next song we tried was 'Florescent Adolescent' by Arctic Monkeys but we didn't use it as it doesn't appeal to our target audience. Our third song was 'I'm not gonna teach your boyfriend' by Black Kids this song was good but did not flow well into the next song so we did not use it. The song we decided to use was 'One' by Swedish House Mafia as it is a fast enough speed and fits well with our opening titles.

Editing
To use the song choices we had decided on we had to get permission from the record labels. So Michaela emailed EMI records asking and this is the email she recieved.
This screeshot shows our final graphics we have decided to go for a purple in a white outline so it is easy to read. Here are the first trys also.
This screenshot shows our second attempt. We like the colour puprle and think it fits in well however it is hard to read so we will develope this further.
This screenshot shows use changing the audio. We used audio transtions to fade music in and out and also adjust the sound levels so every thing was clear and easy to hear

Liverpool - Take Two
Today me and Michaela went back to Liverpool to re film our Vox pops that had gone wrong. We had some good answers but there were not as many people willing to answer as last time. We also filmed some cutaways of shop names and products in boots before we got kicked out as we were not allowed to film inside.

Interviews
Today I, Michaela and Jenny started logging and capturing the footage we had filmed from the week before. While capturing the footage we realised that some of the Vox pops we had filmed had been filmed wrong as Michaela was standing on the wrong side while asking the questions, so we will have to go back and re film them at some point. Today I also arranged two interviews one with a hair dresser and one with a fitness fanatic both for tomorrow.
